INTRODUCTION

25 years in the making, SILVERFOX brings together a group of rock musicians around Wichita, Kansas, who have all been friends in the rock scene for decades.

Under the simple premise of LESS EGO, MORE WORK, the five men in SILVERFOX offer catchy originals for a touring act opener or playing rock covers all night. They can impress a crowd, and play well with others.

THE STORY

Hailing from such old-school local rock bands as TRIM, FADED, ALIEN8, STRONGBAD, BARRELBRIGHT and others, the collective experience and talent of SILVERFOX is formidable. Power vocals, two and three part harmony, dual guitar hard rock and one of the most solid bassists in the scene, combined with solid, memorable songwriting.

While raising families, building careers and doing life…the SILVERFOX members had been out of the local scene and limelight for several years, before guitarist Danny Lang, finally brought these musicians together and pulled them out of hibernation. SILVERFOX was formed, bringing Wichita a powerful sound that

has pleasantly surprised both audiences and venue owners.

"It's pretty wild to get to be in a band with some of the local guys I was inspired by, when I first got into the scene. These guys are great at covers and their original song writing has really turned into something amazing to be a part of," says frontman and lyricist, James Dean. "I'm just a singer. Hearing Shane nail harmonies on Alice in Chains or SILVERFOX original songs is pure joy for me."

SILVERFOX offers fans the very best that the 90s and early 2000s Grunge / Alt / Heavy Rock had to offer while peppering in their own original anthemic rock, for fans STP, SOUNDGARDEN, MUSE and others.
